Walk details:

• Duration: Till around 9:45 AM
• Terrain: Unpaved, undulating and uneven
• Suitable for all ages
What to wear:

• Dull-coloured clothes
• Hats/caps
• Comfortable walking shoes (avoid slippers or thin-soled sandals) – MUST
• Rainwear or warm clothing depending on the weather forecast

What to bring:

• Binoculars, bird books/apps (recommended)
• Camera (optional)
• Notebook/sketchpad and pencil (optional)
• Drinking water and snacks (recommended) — please arrange to take back your waste

TRANSPORT

Getting there by public transport (please check updated routes and schedules):

• Namma Metro (return journey only): 

Nearest station is Thalagattapura (Green Line) – From here, the meeting point can be reached by auto or cab (2 km/ approx. 10 minutes)

• BMTC buses: Bus services from Kengeri Terminus and Kanakapura Road. The nearest bus stop is Agara Cross. A short auto or cab ride will get you to the meeting point. Carpooling recommended for safety.

Important notes:

please carry CASH only of 10 rs for entry and 100 rs for camera fees, charged by department

• There are no restaurants or washrooms along the trail

• Since parking is limited, carpooling is kindly advised
